Deux Jours pour la Terre - Port Argeles
Bar Vicens Soirée - St Jean Pla des Corts






Deux Jours pout La Terre, Port Argeles,May 15th - 16th 9:00-18:00
Les Enfants de la Mer are organising two days of entertainment, information and produce on the theme of Ecological Sustainability at Port Argeles.
On the Saturday there are talks and "animations" on biodiversity, including childrens activities and the WWF school.
On the Sunday there is a Local Producers' Market and a gourmet lunch organised by restaurant Le Clos des Lys. Also a workshop on edible plants and a Discovery Farm with over 300 animals, rare breeds and endagered species. We will be exhibiting at the Producers Market and you'll be able to buy our wines to accompany the lunch at normal retail prices.
It is situated in the market place and southern end of the promenade off Avenue du Grau, between Port Argeles and Argeles Plage.

Soirée Gourmande, Can Vincens Bar a Vins , June 8th, 19:30 - late

A wonderfully chic wine and tapas bar has opened recently in the old village of St Jean. Serving diverse tapas dishes made from the best quality local ingredients and the finest wines of the region.
We are holding a wine and food pairing evening at the bar on the 8th June. Tickets cost 25€ per head and include all the wines and a matching range of tapas dishes. Please phone the bar directly to reserve places, limited to 40.

Shhh - Don't tell anyone

Make sure that you don't tell anyone about this film, staring Omar Sherrif, set in the beautiful surroundings of the Roussillon.


Marie is a young woman without a past or future.  Having been released from prison, she heads for the south of France, hoping to find seasonal work there.  It is here that she meets Baptiste, an old man who was once a cycling champion but who now occupies himself as a painter.  The two become close friends, thanks to their common interest in art.  It is through Baptiste that Marie discovers her true identity, the identity she thought she had lost...
